Who we are
This website is operated by Test Your Strategy, a strategy backtesting, trading software development and mentorship service. For any privacy question or request, email contact@testsyourstrategy.com.
What we collect
Information you send us
When you use the brief form, email us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive what you choose to send: typically your name, email address, phone number and a description of your strategy. The brief form does not store anything on this site. When you send it, your brief is passed through a form delivery service straight to our inbox. If you choose WhatsApp instead, the message reaches us only when you press send.
Website analytics
We use a website analytics service to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are read, how people arrive and whether they get in touch. It uses cookies and collects information such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and referring website. Your name, email address, phone number and strategy description are never sent to it. You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings.
Hosting
Our hosting provider processes standard server request data — such as IP address and the page requested — to deliver the site and keep it secure.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry, review your strategy and prepare a quote.
- To deliver work you have ordered and support it afterwards.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the website is used so we can improve it.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Your strategy is confidential
Strategy rules, code and data you share with us are used only to carry out the work you asked for. They are not shared, reused for other clients or published. An NDA can be signed before you share anything.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails and messages are kept for as long as needed to respond and, if you become a client, for the duration of the work and a reasonable period afterwards for support and our records. Analytics data is retained according to our analytics settings.
Changes to this policy
If what we collect or how we use it changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top changed.
